A recent cemetery survey carried out by the Lo Tishkach Foundation in co-operation with the Union of Religious Jewish Congregations in the Republic of Belarus has found Kobrin Jewish cemetery urgently in need of care.

The burial ground is neither identified nor demarcated, and receives absolutely no maintenance. Access to the 16th-century cemetery, where about 150 gravestones remain, is completely open. Vegetation overgrowth and encroaching agricultural development are major threats to the 650m² site. |
According to the Union of Religious Jewish Congregations, surrounding the site with an iron fence 650m in length and 1.55m in height would cost 18,000 USD. Securing and documenting all gravestones would incur costs of 1,200 USD.
