Following the recent publication of new survey reports based on survey work carried out in various regions across Ukraine and Latvia, we have updated our list of restoration works required at Jewish burial grounds in Ukraine’s Chernihiv and Zakarpattia regions, as well as in the Latvian region of Zemgale
The cemetery is situated in an isolated urban location, on a hillside. A road / entrance sign in Polish marks the site as a Jewish cemetery. The cemetery entrance is a locked iron door. An iron fence set on a red brick wall and pillars, and a locking gate forms the cemetery boundary.
