The Lo Tishkach Holocaust Mass Grave Marker Project
As units of the Nazi Einsatzgruppen moved eastwards during World War II, they set about murdering hundreds of thousands of Jews at thousands of execution sites across Eastern Europe. We may never be able to grant a proper burial to these victims of the Holocaust but it is our duty to mark every site in order that the memory of the Holocaust is never forgotten or denied and the lessons are learned in perpetuity.
As part of surveys undertaken by Lo Tishkach in regions of Ukraine and the Baltic States, all known Holocaust mass grave sites are visited and inspected.
The following Holocaust mass grave sites in the Kyiv region of Ukraine urgently require marking or memorialising. In some cases, existing memorials make NO mention of the Jewish victims killed at these sites. If you would like to help us to rectify this, please visit our donations page or contact us at info@lo-tishkach.org.
